We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Fellowship Baptist Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Scripture Reading

God has spoken by the Word of the God, which is the Bible.  It is God's revelation of Himself to us.  Without the Word of God we would not know God in Christ, and we would cease to exist as a local church. Therefore, we make it a primary task to read the Word aloud every Sunday morning when we gather for worship.

Music

When we gather for corporate worship, we aim to make the Gospel central.  We emphasize the collective witness of he Church throughout history by singing both older and newer hymns that teach us Christ-exalting biblical truth.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.  Our desire is to walk through a book of the bible one at a time, verse by verse, as to get the full council of God.

Prayer

Prayer is essential to the life of the church.  We believe prayer is necessary because we are dependent on God as the Giver of all good things.  We incorporate prayer regularly throughout the service.

Ordinances

Christ has given to his Church the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's supper.  We practice baptism by immersion when a person comes to faith in Jesus Christ.  We observe the Lord's Supper together on the first Sunday of each month.
